What Is It?
The HCN HN39 Vibratory Compactor is a compaction attachments designed for installation on Excavators. It is manufactured at HCN Attachments' ISO 9001:2015-certified facility in Xuzhou, China, and supplied to contractors, rental fleets, OEM partners, and equipment distributors in more than 60 countries. When sourcing vibratory compactor, soil compaction machine, construction compactor, hydraulic plate compactor, trench compactor, vibratory plate compactor, excavator compactor for export or fleet replacement, verify carrier weight class, hydraulic output, and mounting interface before order confirmation — HCN provides free compatibility checks on request.
HCN compaction attachments — vibratory plate compactors, trench compactors, drum rollers, and tamping rammers — deliver reliable high-frequency soil compaction for skid steers, wheel loaders, and excavators. These hydraulic soil compaction machines meet CE and ISO 9001:2015 standards and are used by contractors in 60+ countries for road construction, utility trench backfill, and foundation preparation.
Available model designations: HN3940, HN3960, HN3972. Specification values in the table below apply to the listed model range. If your carrier falls outside the published weight class, contact HCN engineering with the machine make, model, operating weight, and pin-to-pin dimensions — custom bracket fabrication is typically available within 15–30 working days.
HCN HN39 Vibratory Compactor units leave factory with CE conformity documentation, operator manual, and QC records. Standard in-stock configurations ship within 7–15 working days; custom specifications require 15–30 working days. Export terms are quoted FOB Qingdao or Shanghai unless otherwise agreed. Submit an RFQ with your machine model, working conditions, and destination country for pricing, lead time, and bracket fit confirmation.

Applications
The HN39 Vibratory Compactor is specified on the following project types. Each application below reflects real field use — not generic marketing claims.
Utility trench backfill compaction
On this type of project, the HN39 Vibratory Compactor reduces cycle time compared with manual methods by allowing the operator to work from the carrier cab. Utility trench backfill compaction after pipe, cable, or conduit installation in infrastructure projects
Subbase and sub-grade compaction
On this type of project, the HN39 Vibratory Compactor reduces cycle time compared with manual methods by allowing the operator to work from the carrier cab. Subbase and sub-grade compaction during road construction, resurfacing, and pavement rehabilitation
Foundation and embankment compaction
On this type of project, the HN39 Vibratory Compactor reduces cycle time compared with manual methods by allowing the operator to work from the carrier cab. Foundation and embankment compaction on civil engineering, residential, and commercial building sites
Compacting granular fill — sand, gravel, and crushed stone —
On this type of project, the HN39 Vibratory Compactor reduces cycle time compared with manual methods by allowing the operator to work from the carrier cab. Compacting granular fill — sand, gravel, and crushed stone — in confined or hard-to-reach areas
Dam construction and earthwork compaction
On this type of project, the HN39 Vibratory Compactor reduces cycle time compared with manual methods by allowing the operator to work from the carrier cab. Dam construction and earthwork compaction where large roller compactors cannot access

How to Read the Specifications
When reviewing Compaction Attachments for a purchase decision, these parameters determine whether the unit will perform on your site:
- Centrifugal Force (kN)
- The primary measure of compaction power. Higher centrifugal force compacts deeper material lifts. HCN plate compactors range from 20 kN (mini excavator) to 160 kN (20–30 tonne excavators). Match to the required lift thickness and soil type.
- Vibration Frequency (Hz / VPM)
- Frequency affects which soil types are compacted most effectively. 25–35 Hz is optimal for cohesive soils (clay, silt); 35–50 Hz suits granular soils (sand, gravel). HCN's eccentric shaft design maintains consistent frequency across carrier flow rates.
- Plate / Drum Width (mm)
- Wider plates cover more area per pass, increasing productivity. Narrower plates (from 300 mm) fit narrow utility trenches. Match plate width to project requirements — HCN offers custom widths on request.
- Amplitude (mm)
- Larger amplitude penetrates deeper into the fill layer. HCN eccentric shafts are precision-balanced to maintain rated amplitude throughout the component service life.
- Required Hydraulic Flow (L/min)
- Compaction attachments require consistent oil flow to maintain vibration frequency. Verify the carrier's auxiliary hydraulic output before ordering.
